The Event
The 6th running of the Lumenia Consulting ERP HEADtoHEAD™ event took place in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dublin Airport. The event started with elevator speeches from the vendors of the 12 ERP products on display – Netsuite, QAD, Sage ERP X3, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Oracle, IFS, Infor CSI, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Epicor, eFACES E/8, Intact IQ and SAP Business One. This gave attendees a quick overview of each product and helped them decide which session to attend.
Over the two day event the 12 products were demonstrated based on defined scripts, allowing for a true like-for-like comparison for finance and IT executives. Products were presented from each company, with presentations taking place in four parallel streams covering Finance, Production, Procurement and Sales.
Each presenting company also had a stand which allowed attendees to talk in more detail with the vendors and get answers to specific questions. The event also allowed for plenty of time to network with other organisations planning to implement or upgrade ERP.
The event closed with the announcement of the winner of the “ERP HEADtoHEAD™ Best Vendor Demonstration – Ireland 2016”. EFACS E/8 demonstrated by Profitsflow.com was the 2016 winner with an overall delegate satisfaction rating of 90.7%.
