ERP buyers attended the latest Lumenia ERP HEADtoHEAD™ virtual event which proved to be a huge success. With an ERP-packed Agenda, the event took place over 3 days from 11th-13th October. The event enabled buyers of ERP software to compare 9 leading ERP vendors and their solutions. Facilitated by leading independent ERP consultants, Lumenia Consulting, the virtual event, proved to be a huge success for delegates and the ERP vendor sponsors, with a record number of companies in attendance.

The event featured live streaming of 18 ERP product demonstrations, 6 Lumenia good practice presentations, 3 vendor sector-focused presentations, 3 feature showcase presentations and an industry-focused panel discussion. ERP solutions demonstrated included SAP S/4HANA, Oracle NetSuite, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Infor, IFS, Priority Software, Intact iQ and EFACS.
The event opened with an introduction by Ian O’Toole, Consulting Manager at Lumenia Consulting, leading independent ERP consultants. This was followed by each of the 9 ERP vendors presenting an elevator pitch to introduce themselves to the attendees and convince them as to why they should attend their ERP demonstrations. The delegates then attended various live demo sessions based on high-level demonstration scripts covering Finance, Production, Procurement, Projects, Sales Quotation and Sales High Volume.
Over the 3 Days, delegates could hear vendor-independent presentations from Lumenia Consulting on topics including ‘Are you Ready for ERP – Lessons Learned’, ‘Change Management for ERP Success’ and ‘ERP and Digital Transformation – Two sides of the Same Coin?’. Day 2 concluded with a panel discussion, which is always an event highlight, and included three panellists from industry discussing how to avoid ERP implementation mistakes.
The winner of the “ERP HEADtoHEAD™ Best Vendor Demonstration – Ireland 2022” was Intact, demonstrating Intact iQ. In close second was Sapphire Systems presenting SAP S/4HANA Cloud and in third place was Priority, joined by their Irish partner Hybrid Technology presenting Priority ERP.
