Lumenia says third ERP HEADtoHEAD™ event hugely successful

The third ERP HEADtoHEAD™ event took place in the Carlton Hotel, Dublin Airport on 16th /17th  October 2013. The event is organised by leading ERP and CRM experts, Lumenia, and proved to be hugely successful with over 90 people in attendance.

The event started with elevator speeches from the vendors of the nine products on display – SAP, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Epicor 9, IFS Applications, Access Dimensions and CORE Software. This gave attendees a quick overview of each product and helped them decide which session to attend.

Over the two days the nine products were demonstrated using a single script, allowing for a true like-for-like comparison for finance and IT executives.  Products were presented from each company once each day, with presentations taking place in three parallel streams. 

Each presenting company also had a demonstration stand. Here attendees could see more detailed demonstrations and get specific questions answered. The event also allowed for plenty of time to network with other organisations also planning on implementing ERP.

The event highlight was the panel discussion on ‘Avoiding ERP Implementation Mistakes’. A panel of experts, all of whom have implemented ERP, talked about their experiences good and bad on implementing ERP and highlighted things they might do differently next time.
