The 19th running of the Lumenia ERP HEADtoHEAD™ event took place on 08-10 March. The event allowed for ERP buyers to compare 14 leading ERP vendors and their solutions. Facilitated by leading independent ERP consultants, Lumenia Consulting, the virtual event, taking place over 3 days proved to be a success for both attendees and the ERP vendor sponsors.
The event featured live streaming of 28 ERP product demonstrations, 5 Lumenia good practice presentations, 4 vendor sector focused presentations, a feature showcase presentation and an industry focused panel discussion.
The event kicked off with an introduction by John Donagher, Consulting Manager at Lumenia Consulting, which was followed by each of the 14 ERP vendors presenting an elevator pitch to introduce themselves to the attendees and convince them as to why they should attend their demonstrations. The delegates then attended various live demo sessions based on high-level demonstration scripts covering Finance, Production, Procurement, Projects, Sales, Supply Chain and HR.
Over the 3 Days, delegates could listen to Lumenia Consulting vendor-independent presentations on topics including ‘Are you Ready for ERP – Lessons Learned’, ‘Characteristics of Successful ERP Projects’ and ‘Change Management for ERP Success’. Day 2 concluded with the panel discussion, which is always an event highlight and included three panellists from industry discussing how to avoid ERP implementation mistakes.
The winner of the “ERP HEADtoHEAD™ Best Vendor Demonstration – UK 2022” was Infor, demonstrating Infor CloudSuite Industrial, with an overall delegate satisfaction rating of 88%.
In close second were Sapphire Systems presenting SAP S/4HANA Cloud and in joint third were Unit 4 presenting Unit4ERP and Datel presenting Sage Intacct.
