Fourth ERP HEADtoHEAD™ event a huge success
The fourth ERP HEADtoHEAD™ event took place in the Carlton Hotel, Dublin Airport on 4th/5th March 2015. The event is organised by leading ERP and CRM experts, Lumenia, and proved to be hugely successful with over 100 people in attendance.
The event started with elevator speeches from the vendors of the nine ERP products on display – JD Edwards Enterprise One, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, IFS Applications, SAP Business All-in-One, Infor M3, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Sage ERP X3, Epicor Version 10 and Access Dimensions. This gave attendees a quick overview of each product and helped them decide which session to attend.
Over the two days the nine products were demonstrated using a single script, allowing for a true like-for-like comparison for finance and IT executives. Products were presented from each company once each day, with presentations taking place in three parallel streams.
Each presenting company also had a demonstration stand. Here attendees could see more detailed demonstrations and get answers to specific questions. The event also allowed for plenty of time to network with other organisations planning to implement ERP.
An event highlight was the panel discussion on ‘Avoiding ERP Implementation Mistakes’. A panel of experts, all of whom have implemented ERP, talked about their experiences good and bad on implementing ERP and highlighted things they might do differently next time.
Sean Jackson, Managing Director at Lumenia, gave a thought provoking presentation on ‘Benefits Quantification – The Key to ERP Project Success’.
The event closed with the announcement of the winner of the ‘Best Vendor Demonstration 2015’. Aspera Solutions, demonstrating Epicor ERP Version 10 was the 2015 winner with an overall delegate satisfaction rating of 88.5%.
"We have received very positive feedback both from vendors and attendees on the ERP HEADtoHEAD™. Each event gets better and better and we are now starting to plan the next one for 2016", commented Sean Jackson, Managing Director, Lumenia.
